Both our suppliers and our own extruders use aluminium manufactured from recycled billet.

An average of 70% of aluminium used in today’s buildings is already recycled.

It is estimated that 70% - 98% of aluminium used in current buildings will eventually be recycled.

Aluminium is quite unique in that its properties do not change after recycling.

 

Aluminium has unique properties which suit it to construction products.  Strong and light, it enables components both slim and rigid without the need for separate reinforcement.  It produces clearly defined profiles, edges, corners and fine details and is a material both naturally durable under all environmental conditions and capable of various decorative finishing treatments.  Aluminium needs only minimal maintenance attention and does not attract atmospheric grime and dirt does not become permanently ingrained even if left for a long time. 

Above all it is widely accepted that for certain installations only aluminium will do. PVCu doors cannot stand up to heavy duty application nor can they accept the wide range of exit devices, entry systems, locks, handles, or thresholds required nor can they meet many of the requirements for safety, automation or disabled access.
