Company History

CDW Systems Ltd was formed in 1991  and established purely to supply the trade with unglazed shopfronts and commercial doors using its own door and framing profiles.   

The original founders and present directors have all previously been involved with very successful window and door contracting companies and systems companies and it was this expertise and understanding of the market, the customers and the products which has helped the Company grow and establish itself as a specialist in the trade supply of commercial aluminium.  All our team is committed to our industry and enjoy an excellent reputation. 

CDW Systems established a firm customer base and for a number of years was the manufacturer of the Original Monarch Easyway commercial door.  We are pleased to once again be associated with this product and are once again supplying the latest SAPA/Monarch Easyway Commercial Door.

Recent years have seen tremendous growth in the Company which to this day remains self financing and profitable.  This growth resulted in having to move to larger and larger premises, the employment of more staff and continued investment in the most up to date machinery and manufacturing processes.  We were one of the first aluminium companies to introduce computerised machining centres and punch presses and continue to look for methods to improve  our products and our service.

In April 2004, CDW Systems Ltd merged with Hampshire Doors and Windows Ltd – an equally successful trade manufacturer of aluminium windows and doors, and this merger enables us to now offer commercial aluminium windows and other products in addition to our existing range.   

Our industry has changed significantly since the forming of the company and whilst we continue to supply shopfronts , commercial doors and framing, the commercial aluminium market and our customers have grown into new segments of the industry.  We now provide in addition to our own commercial door system, the Glostal, Monarch, (SAPA), Senior and Smart range of products as well as being able to offer Adams Rite, Axim and Dorma hardware and aluminium louvres. 

CDW Systems now provide high performance, quality products for new and refurbished buildings – from high rise application to ground floor treatments our products are now supplied for retail applications, hospitals, educational establishments have been developed and designed to suit most environments.
