GLOSTAL 202 HAWK SLIDING DOORS

Glostal 202 Hawk Sliding Doors are designed as a cost effective garage showroom sliding doors or where a heavy duty non weathered sliding door is required.  Please note that due to the recessed threshold of this product it is only suitable for applications where weathering is not required and does not offer the weathering and sealing characteristics of domestic type patio doors.

Specfication:
Panels are set on stainless steel rollers mounted inalum inium casings with needle bearings.
An Adams Rite 2200 hook lock or optional Chubb 3M50 claw lock is available for the lock stile to jamb condition and a lock can also be fiied at the overlapping stile where required. Flush fitting aluminium finger pulls are used to move the door or pull handles can be provided.
Flush mounted shoot bolts are fitted normally at cill.
 

Glazing:
Glass is set dry against synthetic rubber gaskets and doors can be glazed with either single glass or double glazed units.

Construction
Door leaf profiles are square cut and assembled with extruded aluminium bracketsand plated mild steel plates for securely jointing with hexagon head machine screws.
Heights up to 4000mm are possible but intermediate stile strengths should be established from wind load calculations.
 

Performance 
There are no recognised performance requirements for air and water penetration through doors. In keeping with industry recommendations, it is advisable to give special
consideration to doors on exposed sites. It may be advisable under such circumstances to provide a water collection channel behind the door track drained to the exterior.  Please note these doors offer minimal weathering.
