Commercial Door Product Guarantees and British Standards

 In the absence of any British Standard for commercial doors and framing, listed below are the current BS compliance and specifications for part of our range of doors and framing.  Please bear in mind that these are currently offered by our suppliers.

Aluminium Extrusions to BS1474 HE9 TE/TF. 

Polyester Powder Coating to BS6496 1984, to all standard RAL, Syntha Pulvin and BS Colours. 

Anodised Finishes to BS3987 AA25, all available finishes. 

Gaskets from extruded EPDM rubber. 

Weather-strips from woven pile, polyester backed. 

Glazing to be in accordance with BS6262 for thickness and type.

Curtain Walling

Thermally broken system for vertical or slope glazing.

Tested in accordance with the requirements of BS6375 part 1 – 1989

-         Air Infiltration Graph C       - 600pa

-         Water Penetration Pass       - 600pa

-         Wind pressure                    - 2400pa

Adams Rite Hardware – 18 Months from the date of first use or 24months after the date supplied  whichever comes first.

 Axim Hardware               7085 Panic exit device – 12 Months

                                         Fb62 Extension flush bolts – 30 Months
             

Dorma                          – Door Closers and Hinges

                                    30 Months which is proved defective by reason of either faulty manufacture or  defective material.
