MAIN LOCKING

MS2200 / MS1850 DEADLOCKS – single point hook bolt locks – door remains unlocked if hook lock is deactivated.

1. WHAT TYPE OF CYLINDER DO YOU WISH TO USE?

Euro profile cylinder with MS2200 hook lock.     Round cylinder with MS1850 lock. 

2. DO YOU REQUIRE INTERNAL OVER - RIDE OTHER THAN BY KEY? 

YES       EVVA cylinder with thumbturn for MS2200.

             4036 cylinder (1 No) plus 4066 thumbturn cylinder for  MS1850.

            4550 lever operation (on MS1850 only). 

3. IS TWO OR THREE POINT LOCKING REQUIRED? 

YES       MS2200 2 or 3 point available using 4022-18 threshold bolt for 2 point and with header bolt for 3 point locking.

             MS1850 2 point facility using (4015-18) threshold  bolt. 

4. DO YOU REQUIRE ARMOURED STRIKES? 

YES       MS2200 Hook uses 4052-050 armoured strike.

   MS2200 Bar  uses   4052-010 armoured strike.

             MS1850 Hook uses 4002-050 armoured strike.

            MS1850 Bar  uses   4002-010 armoured strike. 

4710 / 4750 DEADLATCHES – a latch lock only – no additional deadbolt.  Door latches shut every time.  

1. WHAT TYPE OF CYLINDER IS REQUIRED? 

Euro profile cylinder with 4750 deadlatch.     Round cylinder with 4710 deadlatch. 

2. DO YOU REQUIRE OPERATION OF THE LATCH OTHER THAN BY KEY OR THUMBTURN? 

NO        Sofi cylinder or EVVA cylinder with thumbturn for Europrofile cylinders. 

  4036 cylinder ( 2 No req'd) or 4036 cylinder (1 No) plus 4066 thumbturn cylinder for round cylinders.     

 YES     Lever handles can only be used on the (4710) deadlatch      (with 4580 cam plug.)  

            Paddle handles, push or pull mode can be used on 4710 only:-

            4590 paddle handle to be used with the 4710 deadlatch.                    

   Hold back (dogging) facility is supplied as standard to paddle handles. 

3. DO YOU REQUIRE A MANUAL STRIKE PLATE? 

YES       Flat strike plate for rebated doors.     Radius strike plate for double door.    
             Flat strike plate for centre hung door with  4" box section jamb.  

NO   Do you require an electric strike? 

YES       7100 Series for single leaf door.

             7101 Series for pair of doors (voltage/current/fail safe or fail secure TBA)
