CDW Systems has upgraded its quality management system, ISO 9001:2015.
It follows a revision made by the British Standards Institution (BSI) for its ISO 9001:2008, which will no longer be valid from September 2018.
All ISO standards are reviewed every five years to establish if a revision is required to keep it current and relevant for the marketplace.
Organisations are granted a three-year transition period. CDW’s original timescales were to achieve a successful transition by year end 2017 and prior to the September 2018 deadline. But, following a rigorous vetting process, CDW has already been recommended by BSI for an upgrade.
Mike Davis, Managing Director at CDW Systems, comments: “For us, it’s about exceeding expectations, whether it’s the quality of our products or levels of service we offer.
“ISO 9001 is an essential business certification that demonstrates our commitment to both quality assurance and process controls and is in line with our desire for continual improvement, and to be the best.”
CDW Systems has been operating for twenty-five years as an aluminium specialist, manufacturing and supplying a wide range of windows, doors, shop fronts and curtain walling, using some of the leading aluminium profile systems on the market.
