CDW Systems has seen high demand for its Aliver Rooflight system since introducing the product to its portfolio a year ago.
The high performance, high-quality system from Smart Systems, is a fixed, flat solution which creates a contemporary look for any property.
The Gloucester-based specialist aluminium fabricator, part of the East Manor Group, added several new products to its range for customers last year, including the Smart Alitherm Heritage Range and Designer Doors.
The company were buying in an alternative fabricated system but made the decision to start fabricating Smart Aliver themselves – and the system is proving hugely popular.
Group Chairman Jeremy Phillips said: “Roof light sales have been going really well, especially the flat roof lights. Our customers had been asking for them, so we responded to that by investing in being able to offer the Aliver Rooflight system fills that gap in our portfolio.
“The rooflight market is really big now and the demand is certainly there. They have certainly worked very well since being introduced and we’ve barely scratched the surface with them.”
Providing exceptional thermal insulation, light transmission, and noise reduction, the Aliver system has been designed to accept both double and triple glazed units.
Featuring an elegant and unobtrusive aluminium frame and a unique, concealed fixing system which makes the rooflight fast and easy to install, the system has also been designed such that the glazing unit may be taken out of the frame and replaced, without the frame itself having to be removed, providing a durable, cost-effective, and long-life solution.
